GIS for Agriculture Primer


This web site concentrates on how GIS is used in agriculture. We will feature ESRI ArcView and ArcGIS software tools in the examples. Links include data sources, software, and reference information.

The map gallery features maps created as part of our research work and creation of PPI/PPIC examples.

The PPI Projects section features progress on an agreement between ESRI and PPI/PPIC to create some case studies of how ESRI GIS software tools can be used in the agriculture industry.

The How do I... section features examples of the tools available in ArcView 3.x and ArcGIS 8.x. This section also has

GIS Links include data sources, software, and reference information.
